Why do people need friends?

Sometimes I wonder why do people need friends, why do we always feel the need to know that there's someone who cares about us, someone to appreciate us, or to tell us what to do with our lives. I think that actually people want friends because they're egocentric and they want to know other persons are interestd in what they're doing, but thery're not always willing to do the same for their friends.
I think having friends requires a lot of time, I mean, real friend, because you need to spend time with them, to share stuff together, and you can't do this all the time. Of course, you have a family, collegues (and they can also be your friends in a certain way), but I think it's different...

I don't know why people started to avoid me on my favourite gay chat. I've always try to be nice to everyone, and I never ask them their emails or their facebook account, unless they want to keep in touch. But nobody wants to talk to me, even those who lloked very interested at the begining anf told me they wanted to talk to me again, they all avoid me now. I even thought that someone told them I was a bad guy, but it seems so strange and absurd, why on earth would anyone do that?

Yesterday I wanted to know what people thought about dating sites and the way they worked, especially for gay people. I know you can find a lot of websites that deal with this subject, and many of them allow you even to select a location to find people who live next to you.

Some guys answered to my tweet and their opinions were quite different: there were some telling all these websites were only ment to make money and there were other telling they've found their boyfreinds on line. I don't really know what to believe, in the end I think it all depends on the way you're using them... To be honest, I'm a bit scared myself, because I don't really know who I'm going to meet, but still it's worth trying!

This could have been another ordinary day, but a few hours ago I met a guy on a gay chatroulette (where I spend most of my time lately) and he acted very strange at the begining I thought he wasn't gay because he started to tell me how he hated these people and then I asked him why he was on that chat. Then I noticed another person left the room. He then told me his girlfriend was watching him, so he couldn't say anything about the fact that he was gay. So I asked him why he lied to this woman if he was actually gay and all he answered was that he needed to seem a normal person and that he had thought that having a girlfriend would help him to do so. I tried to explain to him how absurd that was, but he suddenly disconnected. Now I wonder, why do people like this never want to talk when they're confused and it's obvious they need someone to talk to, in order not to ruin other people's lives too? I mean, you can even find a lot of things about these kind of complicated situations on the internet, why refuse to talk about it?

Hello !

I decided to start this blog because I needed to talk about me and all the things that happened to me lately and made me become who I am now. I should probably just start by saying I'm gay and it's never been so easy to admit this, because you think people would be shocked, some will say you shouldn't even exist, some will try to convince you that you're ill and you need a cure, some will say you'll burn in hell, and all sort of things.

Even people who do accept gays, are not always happy to tell their friends they have a gay friend or feel uncomfortable when you try to talk to them about a boy you met and you like. So probably, the best thing to do is accept this idea and simply go to bars and other places for gay people, like forums or other blogs or gay chatroulette.

I feel completely accepted in these places because I know there won't be people judging me, they all share the same experiences and know how difficult it can be sometimes...
